Tyler's 8th Birthday Party
I asked Ty what he wanted to do for his birthday and he said, "Run around and chase each other with swords." So that's what we did. I even found lightstick swords at the dollar store so we chased each other with swords in the dark too. I usually just buy a cake at wal-mart for birthday parties but I had an idea for this one and I think it turned out pretty good. Ty liked it and I guess that's what matters!

Ooh! I've been wanting to make that cake for one of the boys (I saw pics online). I'm glad you did it--you'll have to give me tips when I'm ready!
