Tyler tried out for the Waynesboro Children's Theatre Troupe production of High School Musical. Some kids from church all decided to try out so Tyler wanted to too. But he was the only one who showed up at the auditions. They brought 5 kids up on the stage at a time and then one by one they asked them to say their name, grade and then asked them to sing something for them. Tyler sang the chorus to 'We're not gonna take it" by Twisted Sister. He was adorable! There were about 100 people there that he sang in front of. I was so proud of him. He got a part as a "basketball jock". I'm sure we'll be posting more as rehersals go on.

I am so impressed that Tyler auditioned! I cannot imagine Madelyn doing anything like that. She gets paralyzed in front of people. But Lucy, maybe. Congrats to him getting a part!
You've been busy!! Congrats on making it through the first day of school... And even more congrats on scoring a part in the show! I'm signing up Anya for Up With Kids. This year's production is Enchanted and every child has a speaking part. Should be fun! Your trip to the lake sounds wonderful. I'm glad you had such a good time together.
