This Tuesday night Mom, Lexi, Molly, and I went to a David Cook concert. It was a great show- that boy can really sing. It just so happened that our parking space was right by the band's bus. There were girls surrounding it waiting for them to come out but the security guards were extremely grumpy and made everyone leave, so we just sat in the van and watched. Mom hadn't finished her dinner so we just sat there while she finished her sandwich. Eventually the band came out and got on the bus, but the guitar player got back off to smoke so a few people who were still there came over and got an autograph. Soon after, David Cook came out and loaded his stuff on the bus, then came back out to sign autographs, so we jumped out of the van. Lexi is in the picture with him.
We sat back in the van and watched him sign more autographs and we talked about how Karen was going to kill us for doing this without her- she's the David Cook fan of the family. Lexi got the idea to video tape him with her cell phone and email it to Karen. Mom said, "See if you can get him to say "Hi, Karen!" on the video." So Lexi went back out and explained to him that her sister in Utah was a huge fan and was upset about not being able to come with us and could he say HI to her on video. He said, "Get her on the phone!" Lexi dialed as fast as should could and said "I don't know if she'll answer." He said, "I'll just leave her a message." But Karen answered so Lexi handed him the phone. He asked Karen to guess who it was- She had an idea because mom had just texted her. And then he stood there and had a whole conversation with her! Karen was freaking out-needless to say! You can check out her facebook for her side of the story. It was all very exciting! I was snapping pictures as fast as a could the whole time.

So fun!! He is an incredibly talented singer. I'm glad you could go and have a fun girl's night out!
